Qualifications & Experience
- Age below 35 years
- Registered in Sri Lanka Medical Council for the external pharmacy examination
- Completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university
- Ability to dispense medicines under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, dispense, pack and label medicines accurately according to prescriptions
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and medication-related activities
- Manage pharmacy stock, including receiving, proper storage, stock rotation, expiry monitoring and replenishment
- Maintain accurate patient, dispensing and inventory records while ensuring patient confidentiality
- Provide appropriate guidance to patients regarding medication use under pharmacist supervision
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines in compliance with safety, hospital and regulatory requirements
