Qualifications & Experience
Technical Officer – Civil
- NCT Level 6 / NDT / HNDE / NDES or equivalent recognized qualification in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant construction experience, preferably in multi-storey building projects
Safety Officer
- National Certificate / Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Safety or Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), or equivalent recognized qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in multi-storey building construction projects
Key Responsibilities
Technical Officer – Civil
- Site coordination and quality control on construction projects
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings
Safety Officer
- Implement, monitor and maintain health and safety standards at the project site
- Conduct construction safety procedures, risk assessments, toolbox meetings, PPE requirements and site safety inspections
Required Skills
- Technical Officer: strong practical knowledge of civil construction, site coordination, quality control and the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings; good coordination and communication skills with consultants, subcontractors and site personnel
- Safety Officer: sound knowledge of construction safety procedures, risk assessments, toolbox meetings, PPE requirements and site safety inspections
