Blue Arc Manufacturing is a manufacturing company in Ja-Ela, with a focus on electrical switchboard manufacturing and assembly.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a storekeeper, preferably in the electrical switchboard manufacturing and assembly industry
- Basic electrical knowledge, with the ability to identify cables, sizes and common electrical components
- Experience using an ERP system (SAP, Odoo or similar)
- A valid driving licence will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving: receive and check incoming materials and electrical components against Purchase Orders and delivery notes
- Cable and electrical stock: check cable types, sizes, cores and lengths; record cut lengths and drum balances
- Stock records: record all receipts, issues, returns and adjustments in Excel and the ERP system
- Issuing materials: issue materials to the workshop against approved requests and project numbers
- Stock counts: carry out regular stock counts and reconcile any differences
- Storage and safety: keep the store organised, labelled and safe, with proper storage and handling of all items
- Coordination: work with Procurement and Production teams on material needs and shortages
Required Skills
- Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills
- Good communication in Sinhala and English
