Organization Overview
The employer has withheld its name. The group has over 20 years of industry experience and is engaged in Customs House Brokerage, Clearing & Forwarding, Warehousing Operations, Transportation (FCL & LCL) and Import & Export of materials.
Qualifications & Experience
- Member or past finalist of CA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the logistics, transport or related industry
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, VAT, SSCL, corporate tax and current affairs
- Age between 25 and 35 years
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accurate and timely end-to-end financial transactions
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Treasury and working capital management
- Work closely with banks, customers and vendors for working capital management and bank facility negotiation
- Ensure timely statutory filing (VAT, SSCL, corporate tax) and stay updated with current affairs and regulatory changes
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and systems
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions
- Work closely with the CEO/MD and support overall business growth
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Manage and develop the finance team (if applicable)
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting packages (e.g. QuickBooks, Dynamics, SAP or similar)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dynamic, result oriented and adaptable, with a problem-solving and end-to-end solution mindset
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
