Organization Overview
Crevaty is a business process management company recruiting audit professionals for secondment to a well-established audit firm in Muscat, Oman.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA or ACCA, fully qualified or part-qualified
- At least 3 years of external audit experience, including time as an Audit Senior
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and ISAs
- Experience auditing insurance companies is a strong advantage (for example IFRS 17, technical reserves, claims and reinsurance)
- Able to travel and start work in Muscat by mid-November 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and carry out fieldwork on statutory and external audit engagements during the year-end peak season
- Plan audits, perform risk assessments and carry out substantive and controls testing
- Supervise and review the work of junior team members
- Prepare working papers and draft audit reports and management letters to IFRS and ISA standards
- Work directly with client finance teams and engagement managers
Required Skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently under deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and ISAs
