Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified or finalist of ACCA or CA Sri Lanka
- Approximately 8–12 years of relevant financial experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the property development, real estate or construction industry
- Strong experience in banking operations, loan facilities, credit management and financial negotiations
Key Responsibilities
- Cash Flow Management: Prepare, maintain and monitor cash flow forecast for Siripela Holdings
- Weekly Cash Reporting: Prepare and submit consolidated weekly cash flow statements, highlighting projected cash positions, funding gaps and upcoming financial commitments
- Banking & Loan Management: Oversee all banking facilities, loan repayment schedules, instalment due dates, banking documentation and covenant compliance
- Credit Management: Monitor banking obligations, ensuring timely settlements and proactive management of overdue risks
- Payment Control: Review payment schedules before management approval
- Financial Reporting: Prepare a concise monthly Profit & Loss report with a clear analysis of cash flow gaps, funding requirements and financial trends
- Financial Planning: Identify potential cash shortages, recommend corrective actions and coordinate with management to maintain financial stability across the group
- Team Coordination: Provide financial oversight and guidance to the existing accounts team while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Required Skills
- Proven ability to develop and manage cash flow forecasts, loan schedules, banking covenants and financial commitments
- Excellent analytical, planning, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound financial judgment and provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior management
