Qualifications & Experience
- 3 or more years of experience as a 2D Pattern Maker in a recognised apparel manufacturing company
- Previous experience in handling patterns for NEXT would be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers to understand the vision and requirements for each garment
- Develop and create precise patterns based on design sketches and specifications
- Ensure that patterns are optimized for production efficiency while maintaining design integrity
- Collaborate with the production team to address any pattern-related issues during the manufacturing process
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in pattern making techniques
- Provide technical support and expertise to the sample and production teams
- Stay updated with the latest pattern-making techniques, tools and industry trends
- Mentor and guide junior pattern makers
Required Skills
- Proficiency in pattern making software
- Proficiency in pattern making and lay planning software, Tukatech
- Strong knowledge in grading
- Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes
- Attention to detail and precision in pattern creation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
