Qualifications & Experience
- Studied up to G.C.E (A/L)
- 3 years’ relevant field work experience and knowledge in the IE function
- GSD knowledge
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare line layouts and operation breakdowns on time
- Prepare plant machine requirements
- Prepare operation breakdown for costing purpose
- Prepare and issue IE monthly and daily reports on time for management
- Meet monthly saving targets
- Do innovations as per the plant KPI
- Meet plant plan efficiency and standard hours
- Check and confirm thread consumptions
- Time study and motion study
- Take the capacity study of full-line and line balancing for clean-up bottleneck areas
- Follow up the low performing operations
- Operation breakdown, operation bulletin and layout
- SMV calculation by time study
- Operator skill summary
- Process-wise operator skill development
- Non-productive time (loss time) record and reduce
- Hourly production monitoring and achieve the line forecasted output
- Prepare manpower machine report
- 6S implementation, training and auditing
- Eliminate excess manpower
- Work with the production floor and operational management to improve efficiencies
