Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Procurement, or a related discipline
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Operations
- Prior experience within the Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Food Manufacturing industry will be a distinct advantage
- Exposure to Raw Material (RM) and Packaging Material (PM) procurement processes is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for Raw Material and Packaging Material categories
- Source and evaluate local and international suppliers, negotiate with vendors and drive cost-saving initiatives
- Process purchase orders through SAP/ERP systems and monitor supplier deliveries
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA/QC, Production, R&D, Warehouse and Finance to ensure timely availability of materials
- Support supplier qualification and development activities, and manage supplier documentation and quality requirements
- Identify alternative sourcing opportunities and maintain accurate procurement records and supplier performance data
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of SAP or any other ERP system will be considered an added advantage
