Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Mathematics or a related field, or CA/CIMA/CFA/Masters
- Minimum 08-10 years of experience in Banking or the Financial Service sector, out of which at least 5 years at a Managerial level in Risk Department
- Professional qualifications related to Risk Management
- Communication skills in Tamil will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Timely submission of risk reports for regulatory requirements and ensure accuracy of the risk assessments and stress testing
- Conduct annual review of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) of the Company
- Conduct, develop and update periodically credit risk analytics to develop credit strategies for timely identification of shifts in portfolio risk profile
- Review the Risk Appetite and Risk Goals of the Company and obtain BIRMC/BOD approval
- Conduct country and industry reviews as an ongoing exercise
- Preparation and timely review of risk policies, credit related policies, procedures and guidelines
- Conduct post disbursement assessment of credit
