Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Marine Outboard Engine Mechanic
- Strong experience with Yamaha and Mercury outboard engines
- Experience with engine rebuilding, lower unit repairs and preventive maintenance
- Marine technical certification or equivalent qualification is preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, repair and overhaul marine outboard engines
- Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Troubleshoot engine, fuel, electrical, cooling and steering systems
- Maintain detailed service records and manage spare parts inventory
- Work closely with the Operations team to minimize vessel downtime
- Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company SOPs
Required Skills
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of marine electrical and hydraulic systems is an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
