Organization Overview
Metallurgical Corporation of China Limited (MCC) is the general contractor of the Central Expressway Project Section 1 from Kadawatha to Mirigama.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5 years or above of working experience in highway drainage design
- Can independently carry out and complete highway engineering drainage design
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with relevant design audit engineers about drainage and approve design documents
- Solve problems related to drainage design in site construction
- Be responsible for the quality and progress of drainage design
- Drainage of the remaining highway subgrade and pavement of the project (main line, interworking, side road and cross road, river modification, etc.)
- Drainage of the remaining bridge decks and related construction drawings of the project; bridge anti-erosion design
- Carry out the joint drainage survey on the remaining site of the project and complete the relevant drainage survey report
- Assist the department manager to complete other professional work related to drainage
Required Skills
- Highway drainage design expertise
- Ability to coordinate with design audit engineers and resolve site drainage problems
