Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or part qualification in ICASL, ACCA or CMA
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity or in an audit firm
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of sales and collections
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers, ensuring accurate recording of additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation
- Monthly journal entries: prepare, review and post monthly journal entries to ensure accurate and timely closure of accounts
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements, schedules and supporting documentation required for the annual audit, and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process
- Tax compliance and regulatory matters
- Bank liaison and coordination
Required Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliation and cash handling
- Good communication and organizational skills
