Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience (mandatory)
- BSc in Accounting or Finance, or partly qualified in CA / CIMA / ACCA
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support commercial and strategic decision-making
- Lead month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and timely financial submissions
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting, maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation schedules
- Review payroll, pension submissions, VAT, accruals, and debtor balances to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor project delivery, financial records, and cash flow management
- Report month-end results to the Head of Finance and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
- Lead year-end audits, coordinating documentation, stock counts, and audit requirements
- Oversee finance team deliverables and resolve errors and reporting discrepancies
- Lead or support additional finance projects as directed by senior leadership
Required Skills
- Financial analysis, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting
- Knowledge of payroll, pension, VAT, accruals and audit processes
- Team oversight and problem-solving skills
