Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Statistics, Supply Chain Management or Operations Research
- Minimum 1 year of experience in demand planning and forecasting, preferably in FMCG or apparel
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the S&OP process – demand forecasting, demand review and consensus demand planning
- Calculate plant-wise material requirements and ensure on-time material availability through ordering and follow-ups with internal stakeholders
- Ensure optimal inventory cover, minimizing aged, non-moving and slow-moving materials
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting and demand planning processes
Required Skills
- Knowledge of forecasting techniques, including ML-based methods, and the S&OP process
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot and Power BI
- Python programming knowledge will be an added advantage
