Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in lorry driving, distribution, or logistics operations
- G.C.E. Ordinary Level and valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company lorries for the transportation of biscuits, raw materials, packaging materials and other assigned goods
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule according to distribution plans
- Load, unload and secure goods properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain delivery notes, vehicle records and customer acknowledgements accurately
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements, breakdowns, or accidents promptly
- Comply with company transport policies, road safety regulations and health and safety standards at all times
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance practices
- Ability to handle delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
- Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure, meet delivery deadlines, and support operational requirements
