Swetch Colombo (Private) Limited is a construction design company that works for a European construction company, with its Colombo office located at ICC Techno Hub, Malabe, Floor 6.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Moratuwa or University of Peradeniya
- Good sense of building construction and its fundamentals
- Previous work experience in making engineering drawings, reinforcement designing and detailing are considered as plus points (by using Tekla Structures or any other similar construction-related programs)
- Residence within proximity to Malabe, Colombo (at least within 1-hour ride)
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop concrete and steel engineering drawings by using the Tekla Structures program
- Design reinforcement for precast concrete elements by using the Tekla Structures program
- Detail and model concrete and steel elements in various building structures
Required Skills
- Self-driven personality to improve professionally and deliver top quality work
- Ability to work in a team and respect each other’s opinions, with willingness to adapt and evolve to different challenging circumstances during work
- Adequate knowledge of English and good communication skills
