Qualifications & Experience
- Passed G.C.E. A/L in the Commerce stream
- Foundation/Operational level completion in AAT, Chartered Accountancy (CASL), CIMA or ACCA
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role (experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a distinct advantage)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily financial records and bookkeeping day-to-day transactions
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and follow up on outstanding supplier and distributor invoices
- Assist in monitoring manufacturing plant inventory valuations and material costs
- Prepare basic financial summaries, bank reconciliations and petty cash statements
- Assist senior management with tax documentation and routine monthly closings
Required Skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to computerized accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
