Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales in the freight forwarding industry
- Part qualification in CIM, SLIM, or any other relevant marketing qualification will be considered an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new business and clients via cold-calling and sales activities
- Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to encourage up-selling and retention
- Create and drive a sales plan strategy that successfully meets monthly sales goals and initiatives
- Provide responsive customer service and resolve client issues quickly and efficiently
- Follow up on client referrals
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and good command of English
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with effective communication abilities
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills
- Self-driven and motivated
