Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or higher qualification in Education, Languages, Sinhala, or a relevant field.
- Proven experience teaching General Knowledge and/or Language Proficiency for competitive examinations.
- Familiarity with government competitive examination formats and question patterns.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Sinhala.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive, examination-focused lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Deliver live, interactive classes through Zoom on weekday evenings and/or weekends.
- Create and grade quizzes, mock tests, and assignments to monitor student progress.
- Provide personalised feedback and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Prepare students for General Knowledge and Language Proficiency sections of competitive examinations.
Required Skills
- Strong subject knowledge in General Knowledge and/or Sinhala Language Proficiency.
- Online teaching and presentation skills.
- Lesson planning and examination preparation.
