Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in AI/ML development, Generative AI, or AI-powered application development
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and deploy AI/ML solutions to automate and optimize academic, administrative and student-facing processes
- Develop and implement Generative AI applications, LLM-based solutions, AI chatbots, intelligent assistants and other AI-enabled applications to enhance operational efficiency and user experience
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI/ML for process improvement, predictive analytics, knowledge management and data-driven decision-making
- Integrate AI/ML solutions with existing information systems, databases and enterprise applications using APIs and other suitable integration technologies
- Evaluate, monitor, optimise and maintain AI solutions, with appropriate attention to accuracy, scalability, reliability, data security, privacy and responsible AI practices
Required Skills
- Practical knowledge of machine learning, Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering and related AI technologies
- Familiarity with AI development platforms, frameworks and tools used to build, test, deploy and manage AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate emerging AI technologies and apply them to practical organisational requirements
